It’s jewelry party time at the California Bank and Trust Hillcrest branch. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17, Lia Sophia Jewelry will donate up to 20% of sale totals to SCRC for its Bastille Day fundraiser. Grab some friends, or visit on your lunch break, for some fun shopping and light refreshments.

Join SCRC, Silverado Senior Living and friends for Taco Tuesday on May 21 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. When you make a $10 donation that evening, you’ll receive tasty hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a taco take-out dinner for up to four people, and get a tour of the living community. Dinner options include choice of cheese enchiladas or chicken tacos or beef tacos, rice, beans, salad and flan. All proceeds benefit SCRC.
