Southern Caregiver Resource Center (SCRC) has helped thousands of family caregivers with award winning services since 1987. In January 2017, SCRC celebrates 30 years as the leading provider of comprehensive caregiver support services in San Diego and Imperial Counties. This honor would not be possible without your support which has enabled SCRC to provide the vital direct services families need to remain healthy, employed and keep their loved ones safe.
At one time or another, caregiving will touch us all. Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter said it best:
“There are only four kinds of people in the world…
– Those who have been caregivers
– Those who currently are caregivers
– Those who will be caregivers; and
– Those who will need caregivers”
We want you to know that we are here to help and all of our services are FREE.
Nevertheless, we do rely on the generosity of individuals to support our cause and ask that you consider making a donation today.
Together we can continue to care for those who care for others.
*Inability to make a donation does not disqualify you from receiving services.
SCRC’s mission is to help families and communities master the challenges of caring for adults with chronic and disabling conditions. Below is a quote from Anthony, a family caregiver, who benefited from services he received at SCRC.
“I have benefited so much from the services you have provided, especially the counseling and respite care. You gave me guidance and hope during very difficult times.” – Anthony, Family Caregiver.
